Being a small Maine business, we were unable to purchase the gallons required by the larger fuel oil suppliers to offer a pre-buy program for the 06/07 heating system. This may have been the best thing for our customers. Most pre-buys in this area were paid upfront in June and July at a cost per gallon of $2.59-$2.69. Will this be a good deal? Current prices will have to increase by 50 cents a gallon to get into this price range.
